Liquid ammonia flow measurement should try to avoid two-phase flow. However, liquid ammonia close to the gas-liquid equilibrium state, if the pressure loss is large when flowing through the flow, it is easy to cause partial vaporization, which affects the measurement accuracy.
②The temperature coefficient of liquid density is large.
From the ρ=f(t) function table of liquid ammonia, it can be seen that under normal temperature conditions, the density of the liquid ammonia changes by 0.2 ° C or more for every 1 ° C change. Therefore, liquid ammonia metering must be temperature compensated.

③High precision requirements.
Liquid ammonia metering should achieve level 1 accuracy.

④The fluid is flammable and explosive.
Explosion-proof instruments should be used when selecting the instrument.
⑤The measured medium is corrosive. 
Ammonia has a strong corrosive effect on materials such as copper. Therefore, the part of the instrument that is in direct contact with the measured medium should be resistant to ammonia corrosion.
