Damage of corrosive medium to Flow meter

    Corrosion is a phenomenon in which a metal is destroyed by chemical action in its environment. The corrosive nature of the media is a serious threat to the flow meter, and only a few flow meters are not subject to corrosive effects.
    a.Corrosive media corrode and damage critical parts of the flow meter that are in direct contact with the media.For example, the electromagnetic flow meter electrode causes leakage of the medium due to corrosion, causing the excitation coil to burn out.
     b.The critical components of the flow meter are subject to corrosion by corrosive media for a long time, changing the geometry, resulting in reduced accuracy of the meter.For example, after the rotor of the rotameter is corroded by the fluid, the outer shape becomes small, resulting in a low indication of the flow meter.
     c.Reduce the life of the flow meter.
     d.Corrosive media leakage, if not found in time and timely treatment, can easily lead to safety and personal accidents.
