Common malfunction and analysis of electromagnetic flowmeter
1. 2. Trouble findingFlowmeter started operation or normal operation for a period of time to find that the instrument work is not normal, should first check the external conditions of the flowmeter, such as whether the power supply is good, whether the pipeline leakage or in the state of not full pipe, whether there are bubbles in the pipeline, the signal cable is damaged, the converter output signal (that is, the back-position meter input loop) whether open. Remember to blindly disassemble the flowmeter.

(1) in the case of piping full of media, using a multimeter to measure the resistance between terminals A, B and C, the a-c, b-c between the value should be large to equal. If the difference is more than 1 time times, it may be the electrode leakage, measuring the outer wall of the Tube or junction box with condensation water adsorption.
(2) In the case of lining drying, the insulation resistance between a-c and b-c should be measured with mω table (greater than 200mω). Then use a multimeter to measure the resistance of terminals A, B and the two electrodes in the measuring tube (should be short circuit connected state). If the insulation resistance is very small, indicating that the electrode leakage, the entire flowmeter should be returned to the factory maintenance. If the insulation has decreased but there is still more than 50mω and step (1) of the test results are normal, it may be measured outside the wall damp, can be used in hot air dryer inside the shell drying.
(3) using a multimeter to measure the resistance between x and Y, if more than 200 ω, the excitation coil and its lead line may be open or bad contact. Remove the terminal board for inspection.
(4) Check the insulation resistance between x, Y and C, should be in 200mω above, if a drop, use the hot air to the inside of the shell drying treatment. In actual operation, the decrease of coil insulation will result in increased measurement error and unstable instrument output signal.
(5) If the determination of the sensor fault, please contact the company, the general site can not be resolved, need to repair the company.
4. Transformer Check
If the decision is a transformer failure, after checking the external cause is not a problem, please contact the company, the company will generally take the way to replace the circuit board solution.
