Correct installation of electromagnetic flowmeter.

1.Horizontal and vertical installation

    The sensor can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, but it should be ensured that the effects of deposits and bubbles on the measuring electrode are avoided and that the electrode is kept in the axial direction as well. When installed vertically, fluid should flow from bottom to top.

2.Ensure full installation

      Make sure the flow sensor is filled with the fluid to be measured during the measurement, and the non-full tube state can not occur. If the pipe is not full pipe or the vent is empty, the sensor should be installed on a siphon pipe.

3.The sensor can not be installed in the highest position of the pipe, this position is easy to accumulate bubbles

4.Installation of elbows, valves and pumps

    To ensure the stability of the measurement, a straight pipe section should be provided before and after the sensor, the length of which is given by the figure below. If you can not do, you should use a flow stabilizer or reduce the cross section of the measuring point.

5.The sensor imports straight pipe and outlet straight pipe section

     The ideal installation location should be selected before and after the measurement point has enough straight pipe section. Straight pipe should be imported ≥ 5D, straight pipe exports ≥ 3D (D is the nominal diameter of the sensor). Plug-in straight pipe imports should be ≥ 20 D, straight pipe exports ≥ 7D (D is the nominal diameter of the sensor)

6.Installation of pipe outlet for venting

    When the vent is vent, the sensor should not be installed in the pipeline vent, should be installed in the lower place. When the sensor is installed at the bottom of the pipe, it should be ensured that the sensor is filled with liquid and the empty pipe can not be found.

7.The sensor can not be installed in the pump inlet

    To avoid negative pressure, the sensor can not be installed in the pump inlet, but should be installed in the pump outlet.

8.Tandem installation and parallel installation

    If several sensors need to be serially connected in series on the same pipe, the distance between each sensor should be at least 2 sensors. If more than two sensors are mounted in parallel with each other, the distance between the sensors must be greater than 1 m.
